Workshop FAQ

FAQ FOR WORKSHOPS AND CLASSES

How do I register for classes?
To register for any of our classes, purchase your registration online via our classes section. You may also register by visiting the shop during business hours.

How do registration fees work?
Flat fee workshops are pain in full online or in store. For sliding scale workshops, the registration fee is the lowest fee amount. If you are able to pay more than the base amount, please bring cash or check to pay the workshop teacher directly.

How do I pay for the class?
Registration fees can be paid online with credit, debit, or PayPal. Or you may pay in-store prior to class with cash, check, credit, or debit. If you are paying more than the base price for a sliding scale workshop, please bring cash or check to pay the workshop teacher directly.

What if I can't attend a class I registered for? (Refunds)
If you are unable to attend a class, you must notify us via phone or email at least 48 hours prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund. If you notify us after the 48 hour period, you will receive a partial refund, less $5. No refunds will be offered if you notify us the day of the workshop or if you do not show up to the workshop. No exceptions.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?
If a class is canceled due to severe weather (such as snow or ice), the class will be rescheduled for a later date. If you are not able to make the rescheduled class, you will be fully refunded.

Is there a class size minimum? What happens if the minimum is not met?
This varies by class and is determined by the teacher. In the event that the class size minimum is not met, requiring the class to be cancelled, all registered participants will be notified and will receive a full refund.

Do I need to bring anything to the workshop?
If a workshop requires you to bring materials (ie. a journal, yoga mat, etc.), all materials will be listed in the workshop description. The workshop description will also note if materials are included or if there is a materials fee. In general, it is a good idea to bring writing materials for taking notes.

What happens after I register?
Following registration, the class or workshop instructor may be in touch with additional information. Then all you need to do is mark your calendar and we'll look forward to seeing you for class!
