Workshop FAQ


How do I register for classes?
To register for any of our classes, purchase your pre-registration online via our classes section. You may also pre-register by visiting the shop during business hours.

What does the pre-registration fee cover?
Pre-registration fees cover part of your total class cost. By pre-registering, you secure your spot in the class or workshop. This fee will be deducted from your final amount due for the class. If a pre-registration fee is $10 for a $25 class, you will only owe $15 at the time of the class. Pre-registration fees are non-refundable**. Some classes are paid in full online and will be noted on the registration page. See "What if I can't attend a class..." below for info on refunds.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?
If a class is canceled due to severe weather (such as snow or ice), the class will be rescheduled for a later date. If you are not able to make the rescheduled class, you will be fully refunded.

Is there a class size minimum? What happens if the minimum is not met?
This varies by class and is determined by the teacher. Some teachers have a minimum of 4 participants. In the event that the class size minimum is not met, requiring the class to be cancelled, all registered participants will be notified and will receive a full refund.

How do I pay for the class?
Pre-registration fees can be paid online with credit, debit, or PayPal. Or you may pay in-store prior to class with cash, check, credit, or debit. Classes and workshops must be paid in full (minus pre-registration cost) at the time of the class. All class payments must be cash or check, made out to the class instructor. 
Some classes are paid in full online and no additional payment is required. Full payments are noted on the registration page.

What if I can't attend a class I registered for? **(Refunds)
If you are unable to attend a class, you must notify us via phone or email at least 48 hours prior to the start of class. Unfortunately we cannot provide refunds of pre-registration fees. Partial refunds (less $5 from the registration total) are offered for classes that are paid for in full online if you notify us of your cancellation 48 hours prior to the workshop. No refunds will be offered on any fees, regardless of payment type, if you notify us later than the 48 hour period before the workshop.

What happens after I register?
Following registration, the class or workshop instructor may be in touch with additional information. Then all you need to do is mark your calendar and we'll look forward to seeing you for class!
